I think what he (emperor) means is that the empress cannot have a child, and the empire will not have an heir. If rashta has a baby, and be empress for about two years the cold will become the official heir. The emperor does love (pretty sure, looking at his reactions) the empress, but he needs a heir and he’s using rashta so he can have an heir. But he does like the empress but he probably thinks that she doesn’t like him
I pity rashta she is being use and her baby and he first love i feel bad for them but im confused does the emperor love the empress?
