Legally (and morally lol) they are siblings though so if you're into that go ahead I guess. If you don't see step siblings as "real" siblings then I guess that's your opinion but legally (and socially!!) they are, regardless of what you wanna think of them as. The world wasn't her creation but everything she wrote in her novel ended up as kind of a prophecy in the world or something if my memory isn't bad. Because she wrote them as male lead etc their actions follow her writing to a certain extent. Her being in there changed things though.
