Lol. True. This was a norm in the past. Kids getting married to adults. But the good side of it is that it didn't show the dark part of history which will make it Hella disturbing.
Yes and it clearly shows the guy is trying to stay away and even letting her go to school which many husbands didn’t. This guy was just ropped in their marriage I think.
I've read articles where kids in some countries get married to way older men and then died the next day after their "wedding night". I mean, come on... 8 year old girls being on the receiving end for grown men aging 40s to 50s?
