Without that condition, he wouldn’t have cared one bit abt her, supposed sister or not. And like the MC she’s mentally an adult and is calculating like she only sees him to give him food n milk and get on his good side to survive. If she had a loving mom and was never abducted, it’s likely she would’ve stood at Original MC side to take down the villain Dietri.
