Taku did not deserve better but ended up getting more than what I consider better. So when people say he deserves better, I wonder how they don't see how the toxic, manipulative, petty, selfish and obsessed guy got a way better and happy ending compared to his character. And the only reason people say he deserves better is because they are salty he couldn't get what he wanted and obsessed over.
I think Haesoo was very considerate of that toxic guy. After that 1 month period and even before, Haesoo did not want to hurt Taku or lead him on. Even if Taku was rejected, Haesoo was honest with him. It was for the best. He even was sorry for not being able to love Taku. Haesoo gave him the best he could give.
I said he got the best because the better implied here feels like Haesoo was wrong to reject Taku. Taku stans make it seem like Haesoo had to accept Taku no matter what but when he didn't he was the bad guy while Taku with his bad intentions was revered.
I honestly think that Taku got more than he deserved, considering he was a toxic guy. He had been playing with people's emotions and using them but just a little heartbreak from someone he had initially planned to use and then drop, he becomes the most pitiful guy? Haesoo gave him a chance to learn just how shitty he was and grow from it which I hope he did in the 3 years. That was the best route for him.

I'm crying ╥﹏╥ taku in the last panel tho, he deserve better
