Why its rushed its because she remembered it all too late and in one year, she'll have to face the doom flags. So she really has no choice but to do what she can.
Ofc it might still end up like the orig but I prefer if she actually bonk it and failed to stop her bad end but atleast she gotten exiled. And we shall see her live in another country w/ her hastily acquire mediocre farming skills and weak earth magic. Hope another spin off bout her getting exiled would really come to exist. It be very interesting.
Tbh, i think its better from the original in some ways. I mean the original kinda just feel like she just made a harem w/o even realizing it and the plot just extended by adding new chars and new plot of sorts w/ new powers. I know they love her but they are seem more like simps for Bakarina now.
As much as I'm liking this version, it all just feels kinda rushed for me, considering all the nasty things the original Katarina has already done I was sorta expecting and maybe hoping to see our mc here struggle more in rebuilding her reputation especially to those she directly wronged, it all just feels too easy on her for me. Unlike the og story where she doesn't have any more worries since she pretty much already succeeded in avoiding her bad ending before even becoming a teen, there is more of a chance for her to actually be exiled or something so there is something to look forward too.
But considering that this is just a spinoff ig I shouldn't have to expect too much since I don't think they'll make this one as plot heavy as the original one, I'm not expecting it to be as long either. Still, I am enjoying reading this rn
