Oh, don't worry. I understand you. If I were to stumble into that situation (even with the knowlegd I have about both the situation and her character) and I had the power to intervene and stop it without putting myself in imminent danger, I still would.
But in this case it is still very much her own fault. Normally I would say, that'd be victim blaming. But honestly?
