Im pretty sure it was explained his wicked phase is because of his "gluttony ring" or whatever the ring with magic is called
I completely forgot about that! I just read the latest few chapters today and got a bit confused when the wicked phase got mentioned again.
So the demon king has been gone for how long again?
Because what if he got bored as living as a demon, and decided to make himself be reborn as a human?
Or maybe he just became a human and Iruma could be his descendant?
That might explain why Iruma had a “wicked phase”.
Either way, love this wholesome manga!
