Yes, he isn't a bad person either but he definitely didn't handle it well enough and like you said, could do a tad bit better. His words too, he had to be careful. Although, I'm glad things are developing. I also get why the kids were like that too. Sure, their soul is older in the body but abused is also a traumatizing experience of all ages and for some, it's hard to trust the people around them. Especially since they fear that they'll get hurt again physically and mentally. The siblings, from the beginning saw that and you could see the hurt in their eyes. I just like how they start to show how they are opening up. People kept trying to make the story go faster when they don't realize how abuse can affect others.
couldn't agree more, after not reading this for a while i slowly came to understand certain things in the story and things made more sense
Him neglecting them was not all his fault.He was forced by a crazy woman with her threats and still love them even though they were not from the woman he loved.although he could of have done a tad bit better to protect them but unlike other comic with the neglecting dad he is way better
