I grew up poor so I kinda understood the uke tho, it is kinda feeling of ashamed when you have to rely on someone else when you really want to be equal. I was on the scholarship too so if I didn't make the grade, I screwed up.
That's really sad, glad to hear you worked hard to be on a scholarship. I wish there was a way to erase the shame people feel when getting help. There's nothing shameful about being poor, it happens to alot of people and its not anyone's fault. I grew up in a community based culture, helping and asking for help comes naturally. You help when you can and you receive help when you need it. The whole village would raise each other so to speak. We really need to remove the stigma associated with receiving help. :(

The difference between the two semes is day and night lmao with this semes personality do you actually believe he would not being up sponsoring uke to get him to have sex and do other stuff probably like kissing in public with the seme.They just recently got in a relationship and before that the seme was abusive emotionally and physically to the uke.
Pride is one hell of a thing. You can tell the difference between this Uke and the Uke in "Not Your Sugar Daddy". The Uke in Not Your Sugar Daddy had his school fees, rentals, clothes and food taken care off by his boyfriend (even though it was the Seme's dad's money lol) . That was a beautiful relationship with zero pride. Personally, I work hard for myself but if someone wanted to throw money at me then do it lol. I would have understood if the Uke declined for other reasons but seeing him deny help with his school fees and university fees over pride made me incredibly sad. He's been through so much, he should allow himself to breath and lessen his load but sharing it with others. He could have suggested paying it back, having it in writing etc if he didn't want freebies. There's no room for pride if you want to build a good relationship, friend ship or romantically.
