i feel like what chris needed was an environment where he felt safe and a partner where he felt was an equal, not to stop bdsm altogether, and evan was able to provide that.
agreeing with the one above, Chris obviously wanted to do bdsm himself and people handle trauma connected to things they like different, some need to take a step away while others heal better when they continue to do the thing they love in a safe and trusting environment instead
It may have been 3 years since Chris' abusive asshole of an ex left the picture but somehow I felt like Evan dove deep fast into doing BDSM with someone who's supposed to have some sort of trauma, despite Chris saying that he has started moving forward.
The last few chapters got me worried that Evan was rushing Chris, and I was kind of anticipating a relapse or a breakdown. I felt like there should've been a bit more of a conversation regarding that one.
The story's pretty good, nonetheless.
