i just read a spoiler and it turns out he treated her that way because of the dad who is some psychotic bastard but he really did love her he was just forced to stay away or something like that.... do what you will with the info (▰˘◡˘▰)

well he still took her baby away, treated her like trash and brought the woman who he was previously engaged with to their home. He did all that without giving her a single explanation and hurt her beyond repair.

He's actually a good guy, I won't spoil it but the real villians the dad and a bunch of other people scheming being the scenes. Nothing is what it seems

either way, not my cup of tea. There's a lot of unnecessary angst when he could just in fact tell her all about it from the very start so that she could be prepared. I get that he turned back time to fix this since he was absolutely foolish in the previous timeline but still, instead of telling her about the fact that her father is like that(which would be completely believable since she herself knows how he treats her) he just keeps silent. There are many ways to prevent plenty of stuff but instead the continue the whole angst until many chapters.

I mean I can understand your opinion, I've gotten used to the whole 'characters not talking simple things out' thing so that part I can overlook given is this situation the ither factors are pretty big. Like her father was actually murdering people left and right to get the duke to do what he wanted and the emperor and some other relatives. And I think in future chaoter they get better about talking and he does try to warn her but. At the end of the day if it's not your cup of tea might as well spend your time on something else you enjoy. But yeah it is quite angsty

She was literally suffering from PTSD :D you think she will able take it normally? She might harm herself and they weren't in the position they would able to have a conversation!! Her father has eyes on them!! He keep killing Duke's people to keep him in check. He has no choice but treat her like that in the past he told their servents to treat her well but that damn damn ruined everything he did. If you want to blame anyone blame the father.

He wants to take revenge.he was happy when FL died.he lost powers when FL's mother died blamed her for her death that she should have died in mother's place.for FL's father was someone who thought women are like breeding machines.
I respect your thoughts but just remember it's bc of authors writting they gave us one's pov but each characters have different povs. I just hope you try to understand them little. :)

I'm talking about the previous timeline. He could give her a sign about the situation before her mental health turned this way. And yes, she was in a pretty sane state of mind before all this shit she went through happened. Even if they were closely spied on, there were countless of ways to communicate with her without getting caught. The whole angst was just used as a ladder for the plot. Something found in countless webtoons apparently. I do understand their viewpoint but the fact that he kept her on the dark and expected for everything to magically work out is ridiculous.

Agree with you that type of angst is so frustrating...but there are some other type of angst where you just really feel them ...and well I also thought the ML is in a tight situation and I also think he could've find some other way to make things right ...thanks bud

The dad's the one who brought the lady in behind his back while he was at war but I guess the not explaining things clearly part was his fault but he does have issues communicating because of his childhood but yeah I think it's better explained in the novel
