I agree writer of long response.
I was totally thrown off about saliou, still am. I mean we knew he was end game but we know so little about him. I get a basic box boyfriend vibe from him like yes we should root for him because he isn't an emotional and physical manipulator like paolo and gabriel likes him so he IS the standard boyfriend material but sweeping his backstory into the epilogue just seems like such a loss. Facts, he gorgeous but I mean gabriel could have easily just said "I'm going on my one self discovery journey because I thought I killed you" and I would probably be happier with that conclusion. Overall I'm just happy it's finished now and that everybody had a happy ending. But Im still left with questions like poor misha... I hope he gets to become a normal human and where is domingo? Did he and misha run off together like what the author's note implied or is misha just dead and Domingo is the one going on a self discovery journey??

It wasn’t the best, it could have been but along the lines, it just get a little too convoluted and I feel like we could get a little more depth? Also, the epilogue was just a little too out of nowhere lol, idk they should have capitalized in big signs that two years has passed instead of that first column but maybe I’m just being a nitpick. Also, Paolo with long hair is perfecto, he looked damn good, I actually like him a lot (not because he is an abusive narcissistic jerk) but the way is character is built, we get so much depth and at the same time so little about his arc that I’m intrigued to see more. Paolo was the villain but he felt like the main character compared to Saliou, all I know about Saliou, is he used to be a flamboyant playboy who slept around with guys who is a werewolf who had a connection towards Gabriel because they shared a childhood over at the orphanage and they are apparently destined werewolves partners (?), I don’t even know why he fell for Saliou but he did, sure he is a good partner towards him but oh god, it’s just so... bland in this given story and felt a little forced too. Like, in just a few chapters, he became a changed man. I absolutely love that he became a changed man but I need more context. Like I didn’t even know he liked to cook, and boom he became a chef. Like, I know so little of Saliou the one who ended up with Gabriel compared to Paolo. I don’t have anything against Gabriel cuz his arc was built slowly with subtle hints and that was fine with me, perhaps there were a few inconsistencies or what not, but it was a good arc for Gabriel. So really, the ones who written good here were only Paolo and Gabriel, Saliou literally just ate the crumbs, I need more subtext of how he is like and what his person is. I even felt more compelled towards Misha than him due to the dark emphatic mysterious confused character between light and dark, having a tragic despairing mind and soul.
Last but not least, the story started out with a smut plot line between the vampire and the priest, god that was good. The scenes in the church and at his palace, they were nice. A solid A for me. It could be an S grade story, but A is where it’s at.
