- speaking as a person who grew up in a similar financial situation, just taking money from anyone isnt as easy as it looks. and you can tell in the comments that many of you have never experienced this and are overlooking Minwooks despair because of that.

Exactly. It’s not the fact that Seungeon is smarter than him or got first place that is making him upset, it’s the fact that he took time out of his own studies to tutor Seungeon just to find out he never even needed the tutoring in the first place. Now Minwook has lost his scholarship and will have to worry about his tuition fees when he could’ve avoided that if Seungeon hadn’t been there to distract him all the damn time. Seungeon in the end doesnt even care about how Minwook is feeling and is only worried about not being with him, the reason being that he is a rich entitled person who can’t understand the struggles Minwook is facing and thinks it’s fine to just offer him money when he clearly knows that Minwook doesn’t like it, he’s not meaning any harm but he’s still causing it.
very true, and what the fuck is wrong if Minwook is prideful or has an inferiority complex, he literally works hard to make a change in his life, and what I really hated was that Seungeon practically told him to swallow his pride and just take his money to stay by his side, invalidating all the effort that he has put on studying, I really don't understand when people say that he is just in love, but negating the hard work of the person you're in love is just toxic and looking down on him. I'm not sating Minwook doesn't have his problems but this relationship is a mess for the moment so I just hope the both of them could improve and be together in a healthy way

to put it simply, Minwook has every right to feel the way he does. bro isnt that well off to begin with and makes it his goal to succeed academically, to achieve a scholarship at a prestigious school cuz he wants the best possible education, to cater to his future. he works hard asf, and that why he feels so bad now that he might lose his scholar ship because someone he tutored couldve easily surpassed him without his help anyway. how is that not clicking in some of your heads? he literally wasted his time and effort on a genius when he couldve used it himself and you think his main problem is pride? who tf would happily take money just like that from a person your lowkey wary of? and the persons just waving his money around like its nothing and making it sound like Minwook is being prideful when Minwook literally feels BETRAYED.
-Minwook sets up all his priorities and Seungeon REPEATEDLY invalidates them, & anyone would feel like theyre being looked down on by someone who recklessly shoves money and goods you try so hard to earn in your fucking face all the time. not saying Minwook cant take help from time to time but Seungeons approach is fricking horrible.
