There are multiple tweets and messages from her struggling with mental health and suicidal thoughts because of illegal uploads. It's not about not being able to help author because u can claim free coins on Lezhin and read this every week for free
Oh she made multiple posts about that? I didn’t see them I only saw the one where she was texting someone. Even still, if people “can’t buy the chapters” there’s still tons of ways to support her.
Technically KS shouldn't even be here. The creator of KS had the same problem with her work a few years back.
I guess that's why some people are upset. The standards are arbitrary and some people are trying to moralise things.
Imo the author is the only victim to have sympathy for and this manhwa should be deleted to help give the author peace of mind.
Sadly with this type of career, the more popular your comic/manga is the more likely it is to be uploaded on illegal websites.
It’s a shame that it happens, but this is a common occurrence with this career. There’s nothing anyone can do about it.
The author of ‘pink heart jam’ had this problem and threatened to stop making the manga if people kept uploading her work. Luckily most of the big illegal websites like mangago, stopped uploading it. I believe it’s deleted from mangago.. if not then they’ve just stopped for the time being. This way she’ll be able to get her profit, or most of it at least.
Simply deleting the comic for the time being isn’t going to fix anything. They can delete it now but it’ll be back up once things cool, and if she starts making more chapters.
The best we can do is try to pay for the chapters if we can, support her on her social media platforms, and suspend the upload of her comic for about a year or two. If mangago doesn’t upload her comic you best bet there’ll be others uploading. In fact I bet there’s websites still uploading her work.
I just looked at the tweet of her saying she’d kill herself. Guys your taking it way too seriously, she said it in a way like how you’d say “I’m so mad at you I could kill you!!!” People were harassing her about her comic and asking to upload it on illegal websites. She said that because shes angry, and probably depressed. However I don’t think she seriously meant she’d kill herself.
I agree with the uploaded though, please support the author on lezhin-? If you don’t have the money to support ok legal websites maybe support the author in her Twitter/socials and refrain from reading her work on illegal websites until she’s completed her work and has gotten her profit. No one should argue about not being able to support on her social media platforms, it’s free to do that.
