Daniel is his English name.. idk why he uses his English name though.. Leo was with Giovanni in America so that’s what he called him
In the korean version his name ain't Giovanni he has a korean name i think it's danwoo or smth like this and when he was in America they gave him a foreign name which is Daniel but the eng translation missed this that's why we were wondering at first why he has two foreign names

Giovanni is his real name. After he got adopted, his adoptive parents gave him a new name "Daniel" because he's going to live in America, and not Korea anymore. But still, he still prefers to be called Giovanni tho, but I guess he's also fine with Daniel.
Is Daniel a real name of Gio? Isn't that like a cover up name for the company he's working under or am I forgetting something? Even Leo and Noah call Gio, Daniel. I'm so confused.
