it's not that he did something terrible, but the hamster boy thought that the were pretty close and them BAM! he caught hangyul on a lie. and like, if he lies to things so "light" just to avoid sanjae, them he may have thought about what else hangyul may have lied already and what he would lie in the future (like, an affair or something)
in short: hangyul broke the trust sangjae had in him (and this hurts)
Also I think he just pushes people away when they get to close his real problems
Well he was close friends with him and out of nowhere he cut him off. Just out of the blue. That would hurt anyone’s feelings and would make you feel unimportant in that person’s life. And now he pretends they were never even friends which is even crappier for him. Ultimately he cuts people off if they get too close fie to being afraid his vulnerabilities will get the best of him.
