Idrk why she would think that though but she just doesn't know he's just like that like threatening since Ain only shows her his cutesy side
He is becoming a sweeter person though through her love, he wasn't planning to bully the children much until Gregory was an idiot and riled him up. If it was him before this new Roselia he would have been more aggressive from the start
