Yes I agree that Jace sexually assaulted the Duke but he didn't rape him like everyone is saying. And yes I can say that blackmail is better than rape. Rape is the worst thing that can happen to a person. They both suck but rape is infinitely worse.

Blackmail and Rape both suck and the whole rape culture in yaoi's should stop altogether but both Jace and the Duke are in the wrong. I'm sorry to say this and mean so offense but Jace started it all and they both shouldn't have done what they were doing and the Duke is definitely in the very wrong as he keeps hurting Jace but if Jace wanted, he could leave and he doesn't so I guess...in some ways, it's fine but not. Jace stayed there on hsi own because he needs the work and him and the Duke had that misunderstanding and Jace chose to stay there. I agree, The Duke is doing really bad and hurting Jace so much but don't forget that Jace started it. Both are in the wrong.

Exactly and I agree that the Duke is doing really bad right now but don't forget that Jace instigated all of this. If he just hadn't gone onto the Duke in the first place and stuck to teaching his brother, none of this would've happened. And Jace could leave if he wanted to and that ain't victim blaming.

The only things he did wrong was come on to him twice when under the effects of strong medicine and alcohol. He believed he was dreaming and tried to "blackmail" the duke into sleeping with him and forcefully kissed him. The duke has raped Jace repeatedly and yes Jace is an abuse victim. As most abuse victims, he stays because he is dependent on the duke and when he said he was leaving, he was then raped. Do not blame abuse victims for not leaving.
