I'm hoping it wont be a yeo dam forgiving the emperor but a yeo dam realizing his past life emperor isn't the same person as current emperor. like no forgiveness for past actions of the past life emperor just a current emperor would never treat yeo dam the same. and hopefully this realization comes to yeo dam after current emperor shows that he genuinely loves yeo dam and has grown into a genuinely good person... hopefully in this ideal story situation current emperor and yeo dam are in a fair and equal relationship where no one holds power over the other (aka a not toxic relationship)
After reading this I think there are misunderstanding with them since the first emperor until the new one...and this time because he learn about human ,the emperor is trying to get Yeo dam but misunderstandings continu ... hopefully be they can understand each other and not repeating the past
I actually don’t think that I don’t agree with the last part that he’s just going to be that cute remorseful guy all over again like it is for a lot of Manga like this I think it’s he’s questioning it a lot more because he just doesn’t seem like the same person and I completely agree because I refuse to believe that the past life him would like to know him it feels like a completely totally different universe maybe yeah they have a couple things in common like the fact of the guys clearly still quite brutal ML when it comes to multiple things but I think she’s not a psychotic he actually thinks through what he’s doing and hesitates of what he’s doing he’s not insane for no fucking reason either clearly shows because of the nurture he got meaning that his actions were always meant to be not about his nature but how he was nurtured so I quite like that he’s having a hard time grasping it because he does not seem like the same person but at the same time he already kind of loved him to begin with first of all it’s still clearly bugs and that they have the same face but the fact that yeah he did lie but he did like the way that when he was facing that human child he liked him genuinely and did not think whatsoever that he could be related to who did that that sent to him so I think he’s having a hard time properly putting together that oh they are the same person and not just Totally different people using the same face because that’s what it gives off to me like holy shit even though I’m having a hard time properly like even when she’s done it all to like put them at the same spot
Sorry but I don't agree about the fact that the 2 emperors are not alike. If you remember the magician said , jins and human language are a bit different so it cause misunderstanding. So I think the only difference between the 2 emperors is the fact that the last one is trying to understand how humans think and the first one didn't. But I m sure both of them even with the attitude of the first one , loved the uke but still the misunderstanding about the way of thinking continue
One of the reasons I liked this story was because Yeo Dam was determined to stay away from the emperor and absolutely refused to forgive him. He showed both strength and integrity. I hate how in so many stories the uke is abused, raped and worse by the seme but still are deeply in love with them and just glosses over all the sick, disgusting behaviour. Yeo Dam was having none of that. It now, it looked like Yeo Dam’s character is just going to be one more vapid “pure and innocent” character who don’t find abuse all that much of a problem and have no character depth. I was looking forward to a long arc where the emperor had to both prove himself and with blood, sweat and tears win Yeo Dam back. Now it only seems like he needs to be handsome in close proximity to Yeo Dam and all will be forgotten.
What a shame.
