I started reading this back in 2021(?) when it was incomplete and I found myself coming back now that it’s complete. I’m crying like a baby right now over the flashback in the ending knowing that those 10 years of suffering could’ve been prevented if he just looked at his journal </3 Reading this honestly felt like a movie with all the metaphors, references, and the dramatics. My brain would somehow play piano music as background music as I read it too. My only complaint would be that in the R15 version, you miss out on an intimate scene where the uke (sorry I’m terrible with names… and I literally just finished reading it) shows his back to the seme despite being hesitant to do so in the past. I thought that was a cute detail since in the beginning it was mentioned that he never did that with his ex. Ok I’m done I don’t think I’ve ever written so much over another story before I feel dramatic. Overall, if you enjoy angst and happy endings please give this a try :)
