Didn't seth view Anubis as his own son??????!!!

See about anubis I can say that there was this one time he thought that they were something more than father and son, something like a past thing, I remember, and I was in shocked as well when I saw seth kissing him

Pretty sure he still does as that kiss was clearly not one of love or any affection at all.
I'll break it down for yall, ok?

Because of whatever Osiris did Anubis already didn't recognize Seth (remember how he thought they were lovers?) then he was tied in that mask through a curse (and Seth cut the black roots both from his head and mouth) and now Anubis mind is heavily affected (he can't speak, he isn't acting much like an adult or even much like a person at that point), so there isn't much he can do to communicate with the kid.

The reason for the kiss is written in the chapter:

Anubis understands what Seth is ordering him to do but he isn't obeying, so Seth thinks of treating him like a dog, and he gives him something he knows Anubis would like (like a little treat), which is a kiss as Anubis kept trying to kiss him.

They MUST get out of that prison to keep Anubis, themselves, the temple and the people safe, and for that to happen, they need to get Anubis to obey — Seth follows the kiss by saying that if he obeys he can get another kiss. Seth also feels responsible for the incoming caravan so all the more reason for him to do whatever him can to flee from that prison.

Now, this can always change — they are gods and everyone fuck's their siblings, cousins, children, etc —, BUT, right now, Seth still treats Anubis as his son and there's NOTHING in any of the avaliable chapters that indicates otherwise.

He does it’s more that he’s treating Anubis like an actual dog from what I understand. Imagine Seth like a weird dog owner who does mouth kisses with their dogs. Like it’s completely platonic but still weird as fuck.

Anubis is also mentally that of a dog. He’s acting on pure instinct and desire. He also doesn’t recognize Seth as his father rn because of what Osiris did to him (before and after the dog mentality).
