But he had a youtube informant section and knew how mr. Kim does some backhanded deals using taewon, he's being passive with him despite how heavy Mr. Kim influences their whole group. Also, Mr. Kim has connections but with how the author uses him, his power is almost always only because no one talks to the ceo as if its that difficult. I'd understand if the CEO was particularly biased towards mr. Kim but even mr.kim says the ex idol woman is like a daughter so he couldnt deal with her.
And now we even have some mystery egg going on, distracting yusung again to deal with other things to unravel some hidden plot from his past life, making Mr. Kim an annoying pebble in one's shoe.
omg, read your comment wrong!! yes, you’re definitely right.. but i’m trying to rationalize the way people have treated mr.kim by thinking most of the shady stuff he’s done doesn’t seem outwardly wrong to the director, and anything that would he’s doing in secret. also, with yusung being just a trainee he can’t do all that much to someone in power aside from what he’s been doing, which is messing up the plans mr.kim had to take advantage of the trainees. yusung isn’t really in a position to use what he knows against mr.kim in a lot of ways because i think most would see him as crazy.
I think yusung could utilize his youtube expose. Irl, so many staff even use anonymous accounts and trend (even when theyre fake) so i thought he could do the same. If not yusung, the ex idol redhead couldve double checked on the ceo coz mr. Kim often says the CEO approved this and that. Even with this attempt to ignore that yusung won the polls... but then we just jump to a different plot point of that Egg account hinting more theories on Yusung's regression. It just felt like Mr. Kim is even helped by the rest of the characters to fulfill his role coz otherwise, its easy to knock him off his pedestal ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Maybe the author just wants a typical villain.
Which is not necessary, in my opinion, I like to read stories when there's not a really evil person against mc and it's just mc improving himself and achieving his dreams with a few troubles here and there, but nothing too big. The plot is centered aroud mc becoming a better person, I really like this type of plots.
But, I'm sure a lot of people find this type of story boring.
Im also for bettering himself. But yusung's overall life and past has been ruined by Mr. Kim's interventions (and Taewon's poor decisions, but Mr. Kim basically trapped them...) and Yusung has been trying to clear these obstacle. I just feel like Kharby or that cat meme with straight lips and judgemental eyes coz Yusung's group would have had that arc of bettering themselves and conquering external conflicts like having new fans, competing with another group's better skills, or accidents...than a petty antagonist who can be sued as easily as Dora saying Swiper no Swiping QAQ this is also highlighted when mr. Kim sees the ex idol, "like daughter to CEO" as a threat and alot of opportunities had gone by to suppress mr. Kim but ut just doesnt happen. Instead, the story moves on to another plot point which is still about Yusung tryna make sure no one leaves, so overall, the goal is to remove the threat which is mr. Kim.
Im going round and round HAHAHA but I like the overall story, I just need the protagonists to get a grip because my brain just latched on the desire to do something about Mr. Kim instead of dropping it lol

U telling me she's like a daughter to the CEO but she doesnt call this pighead out on his BS? And i also didnt understand why yusung holds back on mr. Kim when he has been the ultimate villain here... maybe coz he wasnt aware or something? Then that's another heartburn for me, ghad. I atleast wished that the villain was actually competent but to me, it just seems like theyre letting him do whatever he pleases.
