But im grinding my teeth for the pettiest yet most stubborn reasons that apparently all FLs just tend to have. Being a fool during vital occasions.
1. She's ever so obedient of her mother's wishes, hence her courage to go to the emperor and be with him. But being so obstinate when swallowing those orbs. The only pro is she gets to have a "closure" but not so much of a pro to contradict her devotion to her mother's wishes.
2. Always forgetting how much her husband cares for her and undermining the fact that HE has the experience in battle. Time and time again, "everything detail about you is important to me", but she gives no shit about dying (when the orb can solve this), about being his shield (when of all people, she's the weakest), and stubbornly uncaring of the ways other people try to protect her (doing as she pleases with the wraiths, having her own plans that can ruin the protection plans for her, uncaring about her husband's power and the other ways to collaborate with him)
I really really love the series, but these piled up frustrations and reading the last update makes me want to just vent more because it undermines the development during the last chapters. She was already peeling her ignorance away because she's got a whole political arc and scheming (which is super needed with how weirdly easy going this empire is becoming while corrupt nobles got smarts to be underhanded. Mukho, bro, so many ways to make use of it but somehow it just slips her mind as if her bloodletting also had her braincells dissipate.
