Bro that’s the same thing i was think ngl literal chills from that chapter when we found out he was smiling I don’t know why, but for some reason when I see the characters, traumatized, or surprised, I get like a kick out of it you know it’s just so satisfying to me
He was numb and just existing. It wasn’t until he met back up with Myungshit, he suddenly felt the need to atone for his “sins” by getting revenge and then ending his life. Because he was so numb from the trauma of losing both his mother and brother that he blames himself for, it never occurred to him in the 5 years in between to seek out Myunshit to get revenge. He feels guilt over that, too.
If you are paying attention, you’ll notice that at the beginning of all this, he didn’t care about anybody, but now he has a lot of people he cares about- including this last guy in the hospital. This is a really good sign for him mentally
All the time in 5 years he indeed just work without really connecting with anybody. Even if the boss he had is good.
I only read the novel until chapter 30 (plus it's not yet completed) so I can't say what will happen in the future, but I do hope that he at least can accept everyone feelings who were close to him now and be happy at the end. ( ；∀；)
I mean, the translation is not completed. I think the original novel itself is complete.
He’s been slowly healing. I would say it’s due to Jay, and maybe Mgr Choi and Hansoo, but everything he’s doing to help others (Jay, Choi, Hansoo, Cha Jungwoo, and now Jimin) makes him feel better about himself, even though he claims he does it only to further his own agenda.
About chapter 66. I know in the back of my head that yoohan would probably end his life after his revenge, but never really took it to think too deeply about it.
So it just hit me when I read it again and think of the first chapter, when yoohan finished paying all of his debt, what will he do if he never met the bastard and heard him bragging? It was a very timed coincidence that he met him again after he just payed all of the debt too.
Will he just... end it without saying anything?
