I am really not a fan of this whole "playboy ML suddenly turns into a loyal saint after marrying the FL" trope.

    It was always his character trait. He values the sanctity of marriage and is fervently loyal to family. He said as much and is proving he meant that. The girl who locked him into a marriage when he was 6 wasn’t his girlfriend and basically ignored him until a few weeks before the wedding. The fact that anyone still feels he should’ve been a saint who obediently waited for her to be his one and only woman once she was good and ready is weird af to me. I’m glad he got to experience shxt and go out there and I’m glad he’s proving to be someone whose word means something.

    Yeah I know. I am not expecting the author to change his character. This trope still irks me though. I just don’t like it
