The grandma is pretty douchey and only cares about success in the company, as for redhead he was arrested so she got angry at him for tainting their reputation I think. Redhead himself is mc's abusive ex and is horrible, not too sure about the parents though they weren't mentioned very much so I forgot. But redhead was treated better in the family than the other person in the main couple, since his parents were gone and he was taken in by that old lady who treated him a lot worse
