Going back to the beginning knowing Jade has his memories makes everything so much sadder. She asks him if he’s been waiting long (for her to wake up) and he says yes, he’s waited a very long time because he’s just spent so long trying to turn back time and see her again that he’s had to wait literal years for her to open her eyes again and she knows NONE OF THIS. The emotions that must be going through him are wild.
