If I remember correctly they didn't bring it up. I'm gonna guess its bc of some sort of accident, maybe from that taekendo competition. Its impossible he's just forgot everything

i can also imagine that robin’s the type of guy who just doesn’t think about things he doesn’t like, so if he happened to do that often enough it’s really easy to get large gaps in memory
