I think this moment will lead to them understanding each other because that’s what cárcel’s trying to do right now. Since season 2 carcels been getting anxious and doubtful about ines’s true purpose in choosing him as her fiancé. He’s asked her a couple of times now if she has some kind of plan too. That’s why he keeps feeling anxious these past couple of chapters cause he’s slowly figuring ines out.
That’s why I disagree with you about him being a hypocrite. Hes talking to her to try to understand her, not to blame her. He even says in this chapter that his past is coming back to bite him and that he doesn’t even need her to like him. It’s just hard cause ines doesnt want him to understand. So him questioning her is getting him nowhere since she’s just answering with more lies.
Hmm, I think maybe he’d deserve it if her behavior was actually directed at him because of the way he used to act in the past (like absolute utter trash) but the her behavior having almost nothing to do with him (Im talking about her behavior since the beginning and having to do with her plan) seems almost unfair to him because yeah she did basically trick him, but seeing as how they’re most likely probably gonna end up together anyways I’d say maybe he kinda deserves whats happening (even if it wasn’t his fault) just because of his last behavior. Well that's the part of him being a hypocrite. He was basically trash while being engaged to her and is now acting obsessively and needy towards her. He literally changed after seeing how beautiful she is. At least Ines is consistent in her behaviour. She told him that she didn't even want him to be loyal only to her (since that's the reason why she chose him, by him being a womaniser). I still stand by my opinion and I don't really like him but it's obvious that they'll end up together so......yea. Let's go on with it
