I don't know about everyone else but I don't want him to be op. I just want him to be able to fight back. Mostly because 'bottoms' in bl's are usually super weak and if they're considered strong they're either weak around or after meeting the male lead/'top' or they're only strong in a supporting/buffing way.
If the character is introduce as a strong headed person then I also want them to be able to fight back for themselves but if they are introduce as weak, timid and they are about to immediately fight back for themselves without development, realization, or something on their character that would be meh for me, like what happened? Who is this character? Is this the same character that I was reading a minute ago?
Yea, I also dislike that kind of characterization when the Mc was clearly introduced as a strong person then suddenly become weak around ml without apparent reason except so the ml can save them
I haven't read the novel so... Anyway why do some readers here want mc to immediately fight for himself we're still in the start of the story (ch. 28 is pretty early) there's a thing called character development, and as far as I know this is not the op isekai theme story so he can't really fight for himself immediately, let him develop himself first. It's actually pretty good that he talk back on his bully cousin even he doesn't have the physical strength to fight that asshole. I know you guys are to tired with bl mc who's damsel in destress but maybe we could just wait? Idk whatever
