Right??? Even if they weren't hot... its so satisfying to see mc having healthy relationships (friends) with other man! It weird me out whem mc is the only guy in a party and the other party members are dressed in a way that... honestly? puts their life at risk when fighting for fanservice. Like who tf would go into a dungeon/gate in high heels, miniskirts and showing cleavage? It just makes no sense!

I know right!!! Also male characters are either bat shit crazy or just used as stepping stones with no friendships involved. Even not allowed to be in the mc party or there inner circle. Plus it is the opposite for women just like you mentioned.
