Yeah i don't get it tho? Cus is he actually a scammer? Like why would he scam elderly people when his mom and him got scammed by a doctor? Makes no sense to me. Unless that's a lie too but they showed his flashbacks so it didn't look like a lie?

The reason he went to scamming elderly is because their easier to trick and his mom died when he was a kid so he had to make a living, causing him to become a scammer, that apparently like to show his horseshoe shape birthmark on his ass yo random people

yeah that part wasn't a lie, i guess that was just the easiest way to get money? But like i liked the trope of bounty hunter x falsely accused like something about it was so funny and charming. I think it's funny that he did end up being the scammer but now it just feels like hes been manipulating Callahan this whole time in order to get away. Also i guess he sleeps around because others know that he has that horse shoe thing on his butt and that's not really my thing like he probably used sex as a way to manipulate Callahan and that just ruins the story for me

this actually made me feel better, it gave me a whole new perspective. Also i remember Johnny asking himself if this was stockholm syndrome and telling himself that he had the choice to run away but chose to stay with Callahan meaning he did in fact fall in love with Callahan. It was probably only manipulation at the beginning and they did settle down at the end
