Yet he went ahead with his doomed plan rather than spending time with someone who ACTUALLY deserves his affection and time bruh. She is dying ! Isn't it normal to spend more time with your loved one than someone who you knew for like what 6 months ? Bruh.

I have a feeling some of you never had to deal with a close family member with terminal cancer before. People forget that some hospitals are not open 24/7 and have set hours you can be there for visits depending on the patient’s condition. Also, when a patient has to resort to experimental medication for a chance for survival, that’s actually a pretty bad sign and you are just hoping for a Hail Mary at that point.
We forgot that Dan, even though he did get sidetracked with catching feelings, is selling his body to be able to afford those drugs and still have to work all day at the gym. And those nighttime deliveries were at a time he can’t visit her anyway.
Plus Dan was thinking that sacrificing his time was worth the access to experimental treatment in hopes to save her. Just blows that it didn’t work.

I get it what you're saying but what about

I might get sh*t for this... I feel like Dan had time to spend with his grandmother. Idk, maybe it's me, it feels like excuses on the reason why is bs, for example the fact that he went out to work two jobs for a few weeks to earn money for a not appropriated gift, everyday before or after work, and possibly on his days off (if he had one). He could spend at least fit in one hour of his time for her, but he chose to put his feelings and effort in jaekyung instead.
I just hope he gets to spend the last moments with her, cause I know it's gonna be run for him.
