uhhhhh.... tbh it'll make more sense if you've read the original manga. You'll understand the reason why eiun (uke) assumes as such. There are reasons why that's explained there

it's called " Ace of Diamond " or " Daiya no A "
It's bad.. Uke assumed that seme don't want kids?... Because of that idiot uke, 2 kids didn't have loving father (which clearly would've gotten if uke confronted seme)... And the father wasn't able to enjoy his kids initial years and uke's pregnancy... Only the story to conclude everything in few panels. I can say it was poorly written story.
