My only problem here is why are manhwa's chapters are getting shorter and shorter? This is the reason why aside from being slow-burn nothing happening that much.
I won't be shock if one day I'll only see one panel every chapter lol. Btw this is not only happening to jinx but other works as well. I understand drawing is hard and everything specially if you're one man company but I just can't help wondering and I assume big l3zh3n manhwas like this has a team behind them aside from the main creator or not?
Anyway as long as the artisut or creators are doing okay this is fine I guess. I take short chapters trice a month than burnout, sick, or d 3ad artist
i think people want character development because it's been 50 chapters without any. That kind of pacing is genuinely very frustrating.
50 chapters are a bit short to me and if they look back on those past chapters nothing much are really happening, I take this phase of the story as still establishing the characters and conflicts.

the establishing of characters, settings, etc should not take 50 whole chapters. It's understandable for people to be frustrated that the story hasn't progressed at all when they're reading FOR the story. Manhwa wise, a lot of them END in chapter 50 or chapter 100, so that's basically saying the setup took for Jinx, when comparing it to others, took the WHOLE time or HALF the time. It's less of a slow burn and more of an unmoving plot. More of the same every chapter. You're entitled to your opinion, as is everybody, but side eyeing people because they're disliking the pacing of the story doesn't make sense to me. I would say the recent chapters seem shorter but the earlier ones were much longer. and even the ones now are definitely nothing out of the ordinary for manhwa.
But you can't rush a story like this tho. If you did, it'll be over in a flash and then what will we do on without JK angst every 10 days?
Lol well it definitely isn't "asking for it to be rushed" by not wanting to see the same exchange between dan and jk every chapter for 50 chapters. It would just be nice to see SOME changes or SOME difference in actions between BOTH characters. Dan is annoying with how much he allows jk to walk all over him and jk is annoying for constantly berating dan.
But it's not so simple between these 2. It's clear Dan doesn't really want to leave JK not just because of the money but because he is invested in JK's well-being. So, this is going to take some time otherwise, it will be rushed.
I'm not gonna go over my points again you can read what I said to tongtong and disagree but I'm not going to change my mind. I'm fully aware of what the story entails and I'm not the only one of that opinion. When almost a WHOLE comment section is commenting on the pacing of a story, that's saying something.
Either way, we're all going to wait patiently to see how it plays out.
Me side eying the ppl who wanted to rush the storyline MAKE SENSE TO ME. Mingwa already stated that this story will be longer so I already expected the slow progress and slow pacing, slow character development specially with updates like this (only trice a month) she stated in her notes that this manhwa will be different from her other works in short she's experimenting so idk why other ppl would expect something different when the author already said this.
Maybe I'm just to used on reading novels with slow development who updated once a year or month lmao
I kinda side eying the ppl who wants character development from horsey when there's still nothing major that happen, you all shouldn't just ask for horsey's but also Dan's. Anyway, I'm both entertain with the story and comment section.
