I mean, he is. He is manipulative, he knows Joon is weak to him, that he can use himself to have Joon do and accept things. You can read the chapters leading to the first time they have sex, how he used himself and Joon's wants to basically lead Joon to want to have sex. Normally, you'd talk it out, he could have explained Joon how preparation can make the whole thing work, but no, he decided to coax him for a week into wanting to have something, he just knew that Joon was weak enough in both body and mind to say no to him.
Also, his possessiveness is not normal. Like AT ALL. You can look for the chapters when they go to Joon's work to take pictures of Yoonseul, after they go home, Yoonseul lets his facade of sweet boy slide, showing how possessive he is, and Joon seems a bit taken aback but he still agrees with him because yeah, that's his 1st everything, his boyfriend, so he likes him so much that he pretty much ignores the red flags or thinks they are cute.
Is good Yoonseul loves Joon and has some conscience about morals and all that, because believe me, he is the perfect combination fucked up ML of any other manhwa. I can picture a different path this manhwa could have taken if author was evil lol.
Still, side stories were cute but yeah, he is a red flag.
I guess..... personally I think possessiveness is okay in a relationship and he has never once went crazy overboard. when he thought ML was being distant and was talking to another dude, he just cried. he also lets Joon has friends even when he gets jealous. AND everyones a little two face (I think joon isn't as dumb as we think he is) he obvs knows ML's tactics.
I do agree with you about him being selfish with his sexual needs, and he has learn to be more attentive. so personally I don't think he is a red flag? but ig that also depends on our definition of a red flag. well anyways, hope you have a good day
