Art or plot?

For me, it's the plot. The art does attract me but it's the plot that will keeps me hooked up with a story. There have been times where I've hated the artstyle but kept reading until the end bc I loved the plot, but I've never hated a plot and kept reading bc of the art

for me, translation > art > plot. i can turn off my brain while reading a story, so the plot doesn't have to be good. if the translation is wonky however, it's a dealbreaker for me. i hate shitty translation more than anything else.

I guess the art is a first for me. If I don't like the art I ll not even start to read it. But if the art is to my liking then I can tolerate the plot, but I have my limits haha

definitely plot, the thing that's most memorable and keeps me coming back to reread is almost always the plot
