Dead. He only got to live past childhood because Tsukasa asked the god at the bottom of the house to keep Hanako alive, but his family had been told that Hanako was not going to live another year

in this universe hanako lived to become a teacher and most likely died, but we don't know the cause this time, tho it seems like he lived a normal life at least
People keep saying that " Tsukasa is the hole under the house before " and " Hanako sensei is actually Tsukasa "
So my question is where exactly is Hanako? Is he trapped somewhere? Or hiding?
