as someone who doesnt like characters forever dying/dead in what i watch/read, I freaking love this man. Wish there were more stories like this, pretty gnarly sometimes and frustrating given that the mc is pretty dense but the plot is just *chefs kiss. It kept me at the edge of my seat thinking whos the real villain in this story, just overall confounding. I FREAKING LOVE IT.
