I agree, the Yellow dragon just woke up and unless that count is his mate the dragon won't really care for the death of a new subordinate for long. It makes no sense to not make any assassination attempts when ML is this future-knowing, amoral dragon other than the author wanting to drag the plot.
Like... ML already has to work hard to make amends and beg MC for forgiveness but with all the trouble he left behind does he think it'll be a breeze?! Dragons are supposed to be smarter however I guess they are dumb when it comes to how toxic humans can be. Why is he leaving a rotting tree to spread it's roots?! darn! He's the same as the yellow dragon in the dumbness department imo. I only liked the White Dragon or was it silver I forgot.. I feel so sad that she's gone... having 2 dumb dragons is a catastrophe
And agree these authors always wanna drag stories but they can't come up with a proper and more enjoyable way to drag it. They always go for the dumb stupid brain dead scenarios that makes readers question why they gotta stay and read that shit
