I was agreeing until this part "but hey, aren't most people capable of doing the same thing? Isn't the phrase, "I'll let the world burn for you" all the rage nowadays." Bro I don't think u understand how that works.
That phrase only works cuz a hero will legit let u die to save hundreds of citizens, rather than a villain who will prioritize YOUR life than others. Using that example for this manga does NOT work at all, cuz even if the main character is Rosaline, I would still fucking hate the ml. Cuz wtf??? I don't think anyone could live with the guilt knowing someone was KILLED just so they can live.
What u said RLLY threw me off and it gave off excusing his actions vibes.
And unless u have a rock of a brain, it's so damn obvious that bright legit seduced the mc. Like nobody saw how she blushed and looked at bright? Oh ofc nobody cuz they were too damn focused on each other legit feel so bad for the mc. Her sister is too busy to noticed cuz she was busy mooching off of bright. Like WHAT did she and bright think was gonna happen??

I don't understand why everyone is hating on Rosaline and Bright? Like, okay, hating on Bright is valid. But Rosaline? NO! She genuinely loves her sister! It's not her fault that Bright loves her. Wisteria was in an unrequited love, and she was willing to do everything so Bright can wield magic but that wasn't what Bright needed during those times. He didn't need a reminder that he was a "failure" that needed to be fixed, that's why he grew more comfortable and eventually fell in love with Rosaline. Rosaline ACCEPTED him, and treated him just the same whether he has magic or not.
What Bright did wrong is mainly demanding for Wisteria to practically die instead of Rosaline, even if he knew that Rosaline will definitely be heartbroken.
Bottomline is, ROSALINE IS NOT A WHITE LOTUS BITCH! SHE IS A GENUINE KIND SISTER!
Bright on the other hand was a desperate man, only seeing Rosaline's safety as the top priority. He was ready to lose everything and during that time, the only way to save Rosaline is to have someone else replace her, which is Wisteria who is already known to be resistant to mana or whatever mechanisms they have. He was wrong, and he definitely wronged Wisteria, but hey, aren't most people capable of doing the same thing? Isn't the phrase, "I'll let the world burn for you" all the rage nowadays.
As for Wisteria, I just really hope she finds a way to get out of that place and finally confront the things that haunts and hurts her. She loved Bright too deeply and she never had the chance to profess it so she was never able to move on. She realized a long time ago that she was not the one meant for Bright and her being all alone in that place makes her emotions even more depressive. I just simply hope that Lloyd magically finds a way for the both of them to escape or maybe even devise a way to freely cross their worlds so that Wisteria can finally find the peace she badly needs right now.
