My most favorite father daughter duo and the family in general...

Also,,, I don't think her 'getting away with murder' is anything 'protagonist' but rather... It's about how much status her family holds. Even if that was jade instead of Le, the situation would still be like this.

And also she's not shock cus her mind is more filled with WHO it could be. Plus,,, take into consideration that she was never outside in her previous life. And she often read detective stories and stories with mcs who 'kill for the greater good'. She's disconnected to real world while her escapism often has bloodshed.. Her thought process is mostly, "in this novel I read that has become reality, death is normal. But what's important is who can the culprit be". This is how she thinks..

I agree. It's not like she didn't get blamed either. Instead, at the exact moment that it happened, all suspicion was on Leticia UNTIL HER FATHER STEPPED IN. If Leticia wasn't the adopted daughter of the Duke, I'm sure she would've been dragged to the cell for further investigation. Also, in some cases, disassociation can happen due to the shock of the situation. There was more shock over the fact that Leti had stabbed the princess unintentionally than the princess dying. The thing I do find odd is that they had left the princess's body when everyone escaped the fire. That just shows how much little favoritism the princess had in the royal family. I swear no one in their sane mind thought that they should have at least brought the body with them. The crime here wasn't "murdering" the princess but having committed an act that harms the royal bloodline. But anywho, that's my only complaint.

I actually also have the same complaint!!! But I kinda justify their action cus the body can be a dead weight when there is a need for quick escape, keeping in mind there were lots of children. But nonetheless, it was strange to leave a Royal member's cold body alone

That's the weird part. I don't remember if the woman who was with the king was the queen or not, but maybe as the mother of the princess, she didn't think to bring her "dead" daughter too in case the body might get burned with the fire? That's crazy and surely really suspicious by how she was all devastated and all. No professional went on to the stage to check her pulse or maybe I'm not remember correctly. Did they?
