idk if they'll change it, but mc focuses entirely on the father as the number one bad guy (which isn't untrue) but the way she puts the ogfl's abuse on the backburner is just mindboggling. not to mention ogfl actually THANKS mc for giving her family good endings (???) which is fucking stupid, idk what the author was on. the only saving grace in this novel is ml seeing his wrongdoings and becoming closer with mc, and the saintess not being a white lotus but an actual friend/helping guide to mc.
In family manhwa it’s not uncommon for abusive family to get a happy ending, especially child ones with abusive/neglectful fathers. It’s frustrating. Also, there was this one manhwa where there was an abusive father who also endangered FL and literally cause a war on purpose to make ML the crown prince and guess what? He got a happy ending too. It was in the novel, after reading that I couldn’t continue the manhwa (it was my fav too) but I doubt they changed it

oldest (?) brother ante let the guards abuse/hit ogfl as long as it wasn't her face and that's the most fucked up shit bc mc FORGIVES HIM. LIKE WHY. WHY. everyone (her father, her brothers, crown prince, ml) gets their happy ending except ogfl, i'm so tired of that shit (ml framed ogfl, btw). mc stays in that fantasy world even though she wanted to go home and ml isn't even originally (?) from that world either. a lot of novel readers dropped this bc of how unforgiving everything was to ogfl, how easily mc accepted the system, how forced the love triangle was (they rooted for the astras, lol). mc's "i'm used to this so i can go along with it" NO. you've been through two reincarnations bc some fucked up system and decided you're going to follow it when it LIED TO AND BACKFIRED ON YOU? YOU'RE STUPID, IDC. you're op to be a mary sue and have everyone fall for newfl but not op enough to break the system, OKAYYY. whatever, lol.
