Imo I hope it ends with Yeonjo dying in front of the ML ( either by suicide or due to the machinations of the MLs enemies or something) but he dies in front of the ml in a way that the ml cannot control and cannot stop but can only watch helplessly as Yeonjo disappears from his life forever.
