So basically MC writes letters to his dead boyfriend and everytime he does he waits for him (boyfriend) to appear, I think you already understood that!! Eventually when his boyfriend starts to turn into something else like an evil spirit because he keeps being summoned into the real world by MC writing the letters.. MC finally decides it’s time to let him go because he doesn’t want his dead boyfriend to turn into an evil spirit— they have one last date together and as they watch the sunrise together the boyfriend finally disappears.. for good. Later on we get a little time skip and we see MC healing and moving on from his dead boyfriend and letting him go, reconnecting from friends he cut off, going out, he sometimes doesn’t think of his dead boyfriend at all, etc etc. MC talks about all of this (his healing process and moving on) in a letter to his dead boyfriend. But now he adds a “P.S: You don’t have to reply anymore.”, telling him that he’s let him go and he doesn’t have to come back anymore ever.
