If you don't understand why people find it weird maybe you're not privy to the concept of grooming. Granted, this story doesn't really clearly depict that as the uke didn't hold any sexual fantasy abt the kid until a year ago (when he was already an adult) and they didn't do the deed til they were both legally an adult, not to mention we saw the monologues of uke and see how it's not his intention to groom the seme. However, this doesn't change the fact that the seme was 5 when he first met uke and has lived with him even longer than with his parents. Yes the 15 years age gap are also present in some stories and aren't weird most of the time, but it really is weird when the other party is a kid when both parties met for the first time. Plus, the seme was a child who was vulnerable due to him losing his parents, he was in a very vulnerable state which made it weirder and predatory that the author made the uke sweep in to take him in and take care of him. Again, the uke didn't mean anything bad with it, but it's only "fine" in our eyes because the author painted a cute picture and put on a sweet, romantic, and simple filter. It's fine to like the story as it is, but it's also healthier for readers to acknowledge how weird their situation is. It is weird, liking someone you know since he was 5 is weird, but uke's intentions were pure for the most part so it's not crossing the grooming line, but it still is weird.

I find it scary and sick to talk about grooming. Knowing the meaning of words is important to use it correctly because the meaning that term carries is heavy and serious and using it badly and lightly is terribly wrong. Grooming someone means that a person with sick inclinations takes advantage of someone's vulnerability with the aim of harassing or harming them. A man who hugs a child with the aim of grooming him because he sees him in a sexual way is literally sick and horrifying. Unfortunately there are also stories like this and the mere thought disgusts me. In this case, however, you understand that it makes no sense. The 20-year-old uke never had a single dubious intention towards the child. With all the purity in the world, he approached only and exclusively to help him. He felt sorry and wanted to save a child. I think the idea of abandoning him hurt him more since he had no one. You talk about grooming when literally he had the purest intentions and saved him from a horrendous life between foster homes and foster care.
The 5-year-old boy didn't fall in love right away, it's obvious that maybe it was gratitude at first, then it became a crush and admiration for the person who saved him. He never saw him as a father or a brother, but only as the one who took him in when he had no one. Who wouldn't feel love for someone who saves him? It's the oldest thing in the world to fall in love with someone you see as your superhero. Well, he did it in a very pure way and without inclinations. He was a child, after all. It's likely that he understood what he felt growing up during adolescence when he started to feel sexual urges. And anyway, one doesn't decide who to be attracted to or have feelings for. Not that the uke has never seen him that way and has never thought of him that way. Reading the letters, he took it lightly at first, then he got worried and when the letters continued, little by little his feelings evolved. How can you not develop feelings for someone who writes letter after letter with feelings that he has for you and loves you so much that he just wants to be with you? And I repeat, the most important thing is that the story starts and develops only when the boy is well into his adulthood. so I see this story in a very pure and cute way.

You edited your first comment which I initially replied to where you say you "don't understand" why people find it "weird" which I answered why people find it weird despite it not having grooming — it's because it tiptoes between those lines and closely resemble it, as simple as that. You said you don't understand so I wrote a comment explaining why they find it weird. Then you edited it and now defend that you think it's pure and question why people say negative things, this puts a different tone to your and my prior comment.
Nevertheless, if you read my comment again, you'll see I didn't say it's grooming, but it's still weird to like someone you met as a 5 year old and someone you took care of since he was that age. No amount of pure intentions and cute scenes can change that part of their situation. It is weird, but I'm not saying it's bad or that it's grooming

The bottom brought the top up and then the top had feelings for him and so for that reason it seems like it's a grooming. IMO I think the line here is kinda thin bc the bottom knew it and he tried to make the top fell out of love, however it was all in vain. Irl its real fcked up, but bcz this story itself is just an imagination (and its purpose is p0rn, and the genre here is what makes pp go for it), I don't really criticize it much. Rather, I consider it my guilty pleasure because I DO KNOW THIS IS ONLY MADE UP NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IN REALITY WOULD LET THEIR MORAL BE CRASHED LIKE THIS EVER.
Again, ok as a story, a p0rn, whatever. No as a real thing in life. But I guess some pp can't just see these two things separately.
The story is cute, romantic, sweet, simple... I don't understand all these negative comments and doubts It's true that the uke adopted the child and raised him, but hey... the age difference isn't that high. He wasn't even a father, but an older brother exaggerating. They have no blood ties except for an older boy who took pity on a child and raised him. Something happened only when the seed was well into adulthood. Now I don't understand why two non-blood strangers after years can't decide that they love each other without you finding the story strange and not normal. I find it adorable and it's so sweet that this little boy has loved this person for all these years and finally finds himself reciprocated
