I think just protection in general, and more of a they favor that blessed person. I believe you also can keep tabs(?) for the sole purpose of protecting and assisting but the reason winterbell forgot about ren is that he didnt care of prayers and his people and stuff like that
That's what I would've assumed then I remembered that Ren also died in the cold to meet Winterbell and only showed up because he didn't want anyone dying in his area. Maybe the white hair just acted as a visual deterrent for most so no one actively tries to get on the bad side of a dragon
Yes. Only the white haired one had the blessing since he was a child but there was no mention of what the blessing did except for his hair turning white

It funny that Winterbell's blessing by default gives cold resistance but not cold immunity , despite that we were first introduced to Ren when he was slowly dying in the cold. Lol
Aside from what you said? Nothing lol winterbell said himself in the novel. His blessing actually useless than the other bells since his power is actually curse and destruction. And actually because his blessing ren two times more suffer in summers at azubell territory since he only get protected from winter not summer heat lol
There's so many got skip from the novel in manhwa. Yes ren's white hair only a cover to save him. His purple hair would make ren in danger so winterbell turn it white
But as contractor and dragon of destruction and curse he is much much stronger than the others. What make Ren is special because winterbell rarely bless human and ren has protection of winterbell. Winterbell promise to his mother that he would protect ren. He forgot yeah but after meeting ren again he promise to do it and that's why he agree to become contractor to ren

Odd question but what does Winterbell's blessing on Ren do specifically?
I know Winterbell's blessing, in general, makes people handle cold better but not immunity to cold. So what makes Ren's so special aside from turning his hair white?
