It’s sad

In the beginning I loved the chemistry between Ian and Sol, but the moment author introduced the reincarnation plot, and spent a whole season showing detailed and intense love story between Brian and Sol, I think Sol is just looking at Brian through Ian, he never loved Ian, he still loves Brian. I still don’t understand how the conflict between them got solved, Ian just stopped caring about being used and deceived by the person he loves. I think this is a horrible resolution. It’s like author didn’t know what to do with this plot point and just decided to abandon it. I also noticed that Ian seems to be behaving less like himself, so it makes me think that the author is replacing him with Brian.

To me, it feels like the author forgot Ian's identity because of the very long flashback. The author probably sees Ian as Brian now.

They have an eternal covenant. When Ian dies in the future, he will reincarnate again into someone else, and Sol will still be in love with him because he loves his soul, his scent, no matter if he gains his memories or not. Their love will keep going forever, that was their pact... I think the author planned that way from the beginning since it is in the title... I also think Ian has changed a little, so I went back to read the first season, and he really started to change in the last 8-10 chapters of the first season... sorry for my English...

Wouldn’t then Sol's feelings be influenced by the covenant? Why would they want that. Ian will also be a different person after reincarnation. Just like he is different from Brian.

That’s how it seems to me and it is breaking my heart. I loved Ian so much, he was a very unique character. I knew this would happen and I think it’s because the author likes Brian better.

I don't think so. In the second season, this was addressed thoroughly. They fell in love, and as Sol was a dragon, he was immortal, so they made the covenant so they could find each other eternally when Brian passed away... The main idea is that Brian and Ian share the same soul, scent, spirit... They might not be the same person, but eternal love goes beyond that. In the future, he will have another name and other memories and Sol will still love him. I've read many reincarnation series and love the idea of an eternal love that will last forever, no matter what or who you are... I recommend Paljae (soooooooo Good) and Devil Wants to hug (So romantic). Sorry for my English #-.-)
