Well he is god, so even if he dies they can still be together in death, ghost, heaven, rebirth, for all of eternity, or that’s what I think. And what’s tgcf?
Tian Guan Ci Fu! or Heaven Official’s Blessing. it’s a chinese BL novel that also has a manhua adaptation with amazing art (but i think a while ago i saw it had some issues with the author that im not up to date about)
it has a plot pretty much like what i mentioned in my comment. it’s a love story between a god and their sole believer, with lots of angst, humour and sweet moments too.
wouldn’t jaeha eventually die since he’s mortal? i could imagine this would almost be like reverse tgcf where the god is mourning his believer and waiting for him to be reincarnated
